Pete "Danutt" Bishal passed away the morning of October 12, 2003 while attending the WESPNEX coin show in White Plains, New York. He was an error and variety coin dealer and former CONECA officer who is credited with coming up with the "CONECA" name (combining CONE & NECA).
In his later years he was a regular in Error World coin club where he had many friends.
His contributions to numismatics are many. He has authored many articles on varieties and focused his attention on Morgan Dollar varieties and got his "Danutt" handle from being "The 1878 Nut."
A true numismatist, he spent his life giving to the hobby he loved. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
