Here is a spectacular German mint error that I wanted to share with the readers of Mint Error News. It is a German 1 Pfennig from former West Germany and is from 1988, two years before the unification of the two parts of Germany.
As you can see, the coin has four obvious errors. First an off-center strike and second a clipped planchet. It also has an off-center double strike and the second strike is a brockage! I have not seen many error coins with so many clear "dramatic" errors as this one before.
