Collecting no date major mint error coins is an interesting way to collect error coinage. Generally, the value of no date mint error coins is less than those with a date. The cool thing about no date major error coins is that one coin could fit into different sets that a collector may be putting together. As an example, the no date off center Buffalo Nickel could fit into a non error buffalo nickel collection, an off center error coin collection, or perhaps a type set of high end mint error coins. For some sets, the only way to get an error type may be from a no date error coin. There are certain error type coins that never have a date on them.
