As seen by the date, I just got in this amazing struck thru and retained plastic 2019 Silver American Eagle major error coin. There is extended plastic free floating in the ICG custom slab. ICG custom cut the insert to allow the free floating of the plastic beyond the edge of the coin, which is very cool. These types of errors usually come out of the silver eagle green monster boxes from the US Mint. New mint dies are covered in plastic and sometimes not all of it gets removed prior to striking. This is one of the larger examples of this type of error. Add the perfect grade of MS 70 and the current date really makes it a perfect error coin.
