1963 Half Crown Struck on a Half Penny Copper Planchet
Northeast Numismatics is offering a very rare off metal from Great Britain. It is a 1963 Half Crown struck on a Half Penny copper planchet. The smaller blank expanded during the strike and is almost the same diameter as the Half Crown. This is a very unusual off-metal. It's in gem mint state condition and is attractively toned brown.
