There are two known 1967 Great Britain Florin mules (struck with two reverse dies). I have handled both of them. NGC authenticated and certified both, a MS 64 and the MS 61 offered in this listing.
When I discovered the first known and certified "two tailed" or "two headed" coin, it caused a sensation within the numismatic community. It was a 1980 Canadian Cent struck with two reverse dies, and was authenticated and certified by PCGS.
Coin World featured my discovery on the front page in 2001. Fast forward to today, there are likely over 50 different "two headed" or "two tailed" coins from all over the world which are now certified by NGC and PCGS.
It is amazing that after five decades, there are only two known Great Britain 1967 "two tailed" Florins. Obviously pieces de caprice!
