Modern Jefferson Nickel On Bowtie Scrap

indentThis discovery piece is the only known bowtie clip on a modern Jefferson Nickel struck between 2006-2022. PCGS graded this coin "MS61 Struck on Bowtie Web Scrap 1.13 grams". A bowtie has 4 clips and the shape of a bowtie. Coins struck on scrap coin webbing are extremely rare. The US Mint put in machinery and policies in 2002 to reduce if not eliminate error coins from being released from the mint and coin rolling companies. This makes this modern struck bowtie even rarer.
