Editor’s note: Since the U.S. Mint changed to the new Schuller Presses, very few mint errors are escaping the Mint and are being discovered in bags or in circulation. It is amazing that this 2005 dated Sacagawea Dollar was discovered struck on a nickel blank. It is also the only known Sacagawea Dollar that is struck on a Cent, Nickel or Dime blank for any of the years that the Sacagawea Dollar was struck. It was authenticated and certified mint state 64 in the new ANACS holder.
