I purchased this flipover strike at auction back in august of 2001. It's a very appealing error to look at, especially when you view the pics side by side. The coin was discovered in a mint bag by a 12 year old girl. Her parents took the coin to a nearby coin dealer to see what it was worth and the dealer suggested putting it up for auction. I fought several other bidders for the coin and finally paid just over $500 for it. Its one of my most favorite coins in my collection.
